Adult Education is for all adults to continue their spiritual growth and understanding of the church’s teachings so as to fulfill their baptismal call to be the mind, heart, and hands of Christ in the world. These are opportunities to reflect on the Scriptures with Catholic commentary in a community of conversation and fellowship.

Sacramental Preparation classes are offered for parents whose children are in preparation.
Parent Involvement in a child’s religion lessons reaffirm and strength one’s own faith.
Catechist Training is done through mini-courses and workshops that are scheduled on and off campus throughout the year. Watch the bulletin or call the church office for details.
Parish Video Library is in the social hall and open to parishioners for one week loans by volunteers after Masses or by calling the church office.
Parish Library of books, audio and videotapes, and periodicals is available to parishioners to sign out resources. Adult Resources are located in the Adult Ed. Rm. Children’s books and audios are shelved by topic and age in the first stack in the school library.
Natural Family Planning (NFP) includes methods of birth control that are highly effective, healthy, medically safe, marriage building, and in full accord with the teaching of the Catholic Church. These are moral method to achieve, avoid, or postpone pregnancy. Introductory sessions are offered throughout the year, followed by individual teaching appointments. St. Peter’s Religious Goods Store volunteers offer Catholic books, bibles, catechisms, and religious articles for children and adults. It is open for purchases after all weekend Masses or by appointment.
The Catholic Miscellany is our diocesan newspaper. It is available to registered parishioners upon request.
Children’s Religious Education is offered for children 4 years old – Grade 8 in the school building from August to Pentecost for those who are not enrolled in our Catholic school. We offer both Sunday morning traditional PSR as well as a Wednesday evening Intergenerational program. Catechetical ministers, aides, receptionists, music leaders, substitute catechists, and special program coordinators make this possible.
Christian Initiation (RCIA adapted for children) is the process to receive into the church children (age 8+) who have not been baptized or were baptized in another denomination, or were baptized and not further prepared for Holy Communion.
St. Peter’s Catholic School, Pre-K4 – Grade 8, offers Catholic education to our children and community. Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is parents and the St. Peter’s teachers who work to support the school.
Readers are welcome to spend time with the school children in reading aloud to them or assisting teachers.
Drivers with CDL can provide transportation for the children to off campus events.
Coaches are needed for soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball for the middle school athletes. Youth Ministry
St. Peter’s youth ministry reaches out to high school teens on four levels: spiritual, educational, emotional, and social.
Core Team of young adults builds relationships and plan activities for teens.
Adult Support for Life Teen can be done through preparation, planning, and prayer. Jr. Life is a spiritual and social outreach group for middle school students of our parish. Adults and parents of the youth assist in planning and organizing events.
