Bazaar - This is an annual parish fundraiser that takes place on the first Saturday in October. This fun and energetic event allows the parish to interact with the Beaufort community at large. Volunteers are needed to work in booths and many other areas.
Bulk Mail - From time to time, the parish sends out mailings to the entire congregation. Help is needed to address and stuff envelopes plus sort the mail by ZIP Code.
Church Cleaners - Volunteers assist staff in the bi-weekly cleaning of the church and chapel.
Coffee and Donuts - This ministry provides a bit of refreshment and conviviality after the Sunday morning Masses. Consider helping by serving one Mass per month. Little preparation is involved but this ministry contributes greatly to the vitality of the parish.
Docents for Historic Church - Docents give tours of the Historic Church and Graveyard. Training is provided by the ministry coordinators.For information about St. Peter’s Catholic Church history, please contact Barbara Stanley, historian, at 843-525-0994.
Home for the Holidays - Money from this annual November event goes to the tuition assistance fund. Local designers decorate homes within a neighborhood community with holiday fare. The homes are then toured by visitors from the coastal community. There is also a gala with silent auction. There is a variety of jobs for volunteers.
Offertory Counters - Weekly group meets to count and deposit contributions. Volunteers must be background screened.
The Vineyard - This is our religious goods store located in the Walsh Palmetto Room foyer. Volunteers are needed after Masses to help at the cash register and with stocking the shelves.
